Cold temperatures and snowy conditions didn’t stop people from coming out to protest against the proposed Kinder Morgan natural gas pipeline Monday.

About 60 demonstrators marched through Greenfield. They started off at Greenfield Community College and made their way to the Berkshire Gas office on Miller Street. One demonstrator told 22News why they made it a point to stop at Berkshire Gas. “They have a vested interest in this pipeline and it’s not because they need all that gas,” said Andra Rose from an organization called Mothers Out Front.
